What our help rests on
Whether you are looking for a partner in India, a company to buy, or a way to grow your own business, you are about to trust someone with it. Here is what that trust rests on: more than 150 European, Japanese and other companies helped since 1984, the industries we have worked in, the technologies we brought to India, and the institutions whose mandates we worked under.
Industries
Some of the industries our projects have been in. If your trade is here, we have probably walked a factory like yours.
What this means for you: if your company is abroad, we know the Indian companies in your trade and how they work. If you are an Indian owner, we have seen how companies like yours grow.

Construction-related technologies brought to India
One of our industries, year by year, as an example of how a new product or technology gets established in India: the first machine, the first customer, the Indian company to make or sell it, and the years of work that follow.
- 2006Self-erecting mobile tower cranes of greater height and longer jib length, with KÖNIG-KRANE of Germany; the start of this work
- 2006Drop-head slab formwork for floor plates above 1,000 m², from NOE-Schaltechnik: the technology used for the Burj Khalifa, brought to India
- 2006Modular, flexible aluminium panel wall formwork, from NOE-Schaltechnik
- 2007Cast-in-situ decorative concrete designs
- 2008Spray plastering and mortar systems, from UELZENER Maschinen
- 2013Architectural concrete concepts
- 2015Architectural precast walls
- 2016–2017Ready-mix plaster and dry mortar
- 2019Mechanised plastering, grouting and screeding
- 2021–2022Mechanised cement grouted bituminous mix (CGBM)
- 2022Architectural precast façades in ultra high performance concrete (UHPC)
Some typical cases
A few of the companies you can ask us about in a first conversation.
- KÖNIG-KRANE, Germany: tower cranes
- Bringing KÖNIG-KRANE into the Indian market: the first long-jib self-erecting tower cranes in India, and the first internal-climbing top-slewing tower cranes for buildings over 300 metres. Market analysis, support in choosing and using the cranes, import logistics, training, and a collaboration to manufacture in India. The work began in 2006 and led to KOENIG Equipment India, where Pradeep is a director.
- UELZENER Maschinen, Germany: plastering machines and mortar mixing-pumping machines
- Mechanised plastering with plaster mixed on site, introduced to the Indian market for the first time. Two plastering models are now manufactured in India by an Indian company. Alongside: support for Indian applications, ready-mix mortar technology suited to automatic plastering machines, and a collaboration on mixing equipment for ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) mortar. The work is in progress.
- CHEMIX MACHINERY JAPAN and RYOZAI KAIHATSU, Japan: PET blow moulding machines and specialised PET bottles
- A collaboration to manufacture, for the first time in India, two-stage biaxial stretch blow moulding machines for heat-resistant and pressure-resistant bottles; and a market survey for introducing anime-shaped plastic bottles in India, also a first.

Mandates and representations
From 1984 to 1997, IND-TECH CONSULTANTS (ITC) was the country representative in India of Technology For The People (TFTP), Geneva, for alliances between Swiss and Indian companies. The work was carried out under successive mandates that TFTP received from the Swiss Federal Office of Foreign Economic Affairs (FOFEA), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the World Bank Group. It meant finding potential partners, drafting and negotiating project documents, and the slow work of reconciling two partners' often contradictory interests.
ITC was also involved in project exports and technology transfer from India to African and CIS countries, in projects sponsored by the World Bank, the IMF and the EBRD.
ITC has also acted as country representative for XY EUROPE, Besançon, France, for alliances between French, European and Indian firms, and has worked with Material Engineering Dainty Corporation and Chikako Corporation, Tokyo, on alliances between Japanese and Indian companies. For acquisitions, ITC works with partner firms in Germany, Switzerland and the rest of Europe and, since 2026, in Canada.
